Here are the some of the most common arguments that I hear from people who cling to the idea that humans need to consume animals to be healthy. Usually because they like bacon but refuse to acknowledge the connection between the animal that wanted to live and the plastic-wrapped package of its flesh at the grocery store.

Myth #6: By eating animals, we are controlling the their population.
